Welcome to Steel Poppy. My name is Taylor Virta, my passion started at a young age, and I have been working in the beauty industry for 12+ years in the Bay Area. I have worked in a High End salon surrounded by other colleuges as beauticians and absolute artists. Since 2020 hit, we know a lot of people went through a big change. I took a big leap of faith that year in deciding to work on starting my own hair studio. That year was an amazing start and feel so blessed to have had the amount of support from my wonderful clients. I went from house calls and working in a make shift studio in my own home, to moving to an establishment to be able to welcome more and more clients, as my business was growing. I am coming up on three years as the creator of my business and I strive to keep going!

Continuing education is a priority as well as creating my own unique styles and techniques.

 I thrive to make people feel some great amount of confidence through their hair. Through big and small transformations, I am here for it all!

I will provide you with education on your hair by styling, working with your texture, or creating something you've never thought was possible( if applicable, of course!)

I provide services to everyone, and of all ages.
